This script provides plug and play operation of the KMI K-Board Pro 4. The KBP4 is an MPE controller and the per key expression data will be available as pitch bend (from the X-Axis) and from the Timbre and Press expressions in Bitwig (from the Y-Axis and Z-Axis respectively).
The Sliders are configured to perform certain functions out of the box, but can be configured using the KBP4 Editor. The leftmost slider sends global pitch bend with a range of 2 semitones. The second slider sets the octave of the KBP4. The third slider sets the range of the per key pitch bend. The rightmost slider sets the return time of the per key pitch bend. The settings of the third and fourth sliders can greatly impact the nature of the per key pitch bend, so we encourage you to experiement!
